Balboa Tattoo was originally opened at the Newport Pier area of Newport Beach Ca. in 1993. It was moved to Pacific Coast Highway at the Orange street crossing light (Newport Beach) in 2002. The shop shares a wall with Newport Burgers. There are three great tattoo artists there to meet all your body art needs . Rick Williams is the shops most skilled and experienced tattoo artist. He has been tattooing for 20 years. Ardee is the shop's founder and current owner. She has 26 years experience in tattooing and 21 years in shop ownership. Scott is the newest artist/addition to Balboa Tattoo and, he is reliable, responsible and is becoming a force in tattooing quite rapidly. We work together to grow in our field. We paint together, we eat together, we tattoo together and, sometimes we party together.

Our favorite tattoos to do are large, one of a kind pieces, however don't let that discourage you if, you want a simple small flower tattoo or perhaps some fancy script style lettering.
